Synopsys :
bermula di tempat yg sama yaitu Ar Ciel, tetapi berada di wilayah yg berbeda sekarang.menara Ar tonelico yg berada di Metafalss juga berbeda dengan yg ada di Ar tonelico sebelumnya dan bentuknya sudah seperti bukan menara lagi , tetapi masih memiliki fasilitas penting yang sama (Rinkernator, Plasma Bell,dan Musical Corridor).  di menara ini terdapat 2 Song Magic Servers: Sol Marta server dan Infel Phira Server. Sol Marta server terletak di menara zona atas, bertindak seperti satelit stasioner. itu dikolokasikan dengan S. P. U. dan Rinkernator dan itu adalah server utama menaranya. Infel Phira server terletak di satelit yg mengorbit di sekitar menara.


Battle :
In Ar tonelico II there are two phases when fighting the enemy. Phase one is the Attack Phase. Characters can attack until the time gauge runs out as well as choose which magic for the Reyvateils to cast or decide when they should release it. Phase two is the Defend Phase. This is the enemies chance to attack your Reyvateil, you must protect her by timing defensive moves properly.

pemeran utama di game ini. dia membenci misi yang berhubungan dengan menangkap para I.P.D walaupun dia tau kalau mereka harus dihentikan. dia diadopsi oleh Reisha saat dia kehilangan orang tuanya dan tinggal bersama Luca sampai 4 tahun lalu saat dia meninggalkan pastalia dan menjadi knight.  2 tahun kemudian ketika terjadi I.P.D outbreak, dia menyelamatkan Cocona dan memasukkannya menjadi keluarga dan sejak saat itu mereka mulai bertarung bersama.dia biasa menggunakan kacamata saat istirahat karena penglihatannya yg buruk, tapi dia melepasnya jika dia pergi bertarung. Dia menemukan dirinya terjebak dalam perang sipil  ketika salah satu misinya adalah melindungi Cloche Leythal Pastalia, dan dimana bermula sebuah petualangan yang akan memutuskan nasib seluruh Ar Ciel.

Synopsis :
cerita berawal di sebuah daratan yg mengambang bernama Sol Ciel, inti cerita game ini adalah sebuah menara yg luar biasa tinggi bernama Ar tonelico dan alur ceritanya adalah tentang hubungan antar manusia dan sebuah suku buatan bernama reyvateil.


Battle :
Ar tonelico features a turn-based battle system akin to those of the Atelier Iris series.

The active party consists of up to three fighters in the front and one Reyvateil in the back. An action can be chosen for each fighter as their turn arrives. An action bar at the top of the screen indicates the turn order for every character and opponent involved in the battle. Fighters may choose to strike the enemy, defend themselves, use a skill, use an item, or to protect the Reyvateil.

 When targeted, a number of circles are shown around her to indicate the number of fighters that must protect her (instead of attacking) before the enemy's next turn to completely block the attack. A successful defense grants the fighters an option to mount a devastating counter-attack at the cost of one harmocrystal.

Harmocrystals are activated when the Reyvateil and the rest of the party work well together, a measure of which is represented by the Harmonics bar at the bottom of the screen. Harmonics improve with each successful attack from the fighters, defense of the Reyvateil, and gradually over time, but decreases whenever an enemy lands a successful attack. When the bar fills, the party's attacks become stronger and one harmocrystal is activated. A higher level of Harmonics also allows the Reyvateil to sing faster.

the Reyvateil doesn't need to wait for her turn and can be given commands at any time during the battle.  she supports the party by using Song Magic. Her MP will decrease as long as she is singing, and stopping the Song will cause her MP to recover over time. Red Magic can be charged for any length of time before being released onto the enemy as an attack, whereas Blue Magic immediately takes effect and continues to remain in effect as long as the singing continues.

Aurica adalah reyvateil generasi ketiga., karena keadaan kelahirannya ,dia tergolong Reyvateil kelas-D, level paling rendah.,sebelumnya, kampung halamannya yaitu desa Skuwat , di infiltrasi oleh konglomerat Tenba. suku Teru lalu menyerang Tenba selagi mereka berkemah disitu dan menghancurkan desa,sebab itu orang tuanya meninggal dan mengakibatkan trauma mental. setelah itu, dia bergabung dengan Church of elemia dan menjadi reyvateil,dengan harapan untuk menjadi gadis suci. 




Misha Arsellec Lune (彌紗・アルトセルク・リューン Misha Arutoseruku Ryūn)

Misha cukup berani dan tak ragu" untuk melakukan gerakan dengan Lyner. dia penderita acrophobia, selain dia lebih tua dari Aurica, dia terperangkap di tubuh 12 tahunnya sampai lagunya pulih.
